JetBlue has loaded its first route to Venezuela into booking systems: a nonstop flight between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) and Caracas (Maiquetía) from February 4 —the calendar points to February 2027— with daily frequency on Airbus A320, according to the schedule detected by specialist Ishrion Aviation and reported by Aviacionline on October 1. The loaded times are: B6 1821, departing Fort Lauderdale at 10:00 and arriving in Caracas at 14:25; and B6 1810, departing Caracas at 15:40 and arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 18:21. The airline announced in May its intention to operate the route, subject to government approvals, but has not yet officially confirmed it or opened formal sales: the date must be read as loaded scheduling, not a guaranteed start. In the same market, American Airlines already operates Miami–Caracas and restores its second daily frequency on October 15, 2026. Ikiratours, Venezuela's 100% B2B DMC and inbound wholesaler, handles inbound operations.
What it means for your agency
The United States is the market that was missing: after almost seven years of suspension for US carriers, the link is being rebuilt through Florida, home to one of the largest Venezuelan communities and where American already operates from Miami. Fort Lauderdale would add a second South Florida gateway, with connections across JetBlue's network. The commercial discipline here is twofold: prepare the market now (English-language material, visiting-friends-and-relatives clients), but do not sell closed itineraries on this route until JetBlue publishes it officially.
What to do
Watch for JetBlue's official confirmation before quoting this route as firm. In the meantime, arrival via Miami is sellable today: check net lodging and excursion rates on the B2B portal and coordinate domestic connections from Caracas with operations, with confirmation within 24 to 48 business hours.
